Perceptual Art in my view encompasses op art, kinetic art and any other art that challenges our visual perception. Much of my art employs line, colour and composition to create interest or visual tension by encouraging the viewer’s eye to shift or lose focus. The paintings in this series are constructed as explorations of how relatively simple designs can lead to various types of optical effects including blurring and vibration. Enjoy the experience.
